CLIMATE | Columnea Krakatau feels good in a bright place with bright but diffused light. But not in direct afternoon sunlight. The plant feels good in warmth, the ideal temperature is 18°–24°C. It does not like drafts and sudden temperature fluctuations. In winter, the temperature should not be lower than 15 °.
WATERING | Keep the soil slightly moist, but not wet. Water only when the top layer of soil has dried out. The plant does not like drying out, but overwatering and waterlogging in the pot are more harmful to it. It is preferable to water with room temperature water. The plant likes moist air, if the air in the room is dry, it is recommended to moisten the plant.
FERTILIZATION | In spring and summer, it is recommended to fertilize about 1-2 times a month with liquid fertilizer for flowering plants. In autumn and winter, stop fertilizing.
