Soil mixture for cacti / succulents
The cactus substrate is based on various types of sphagnum peat and white Irish peat mulch, supplemented with the necessary nutrients. Irish peat is added to provide good moisture permeability to the substrate, allowing the plant's roots to get plenty of oxygen, which is very important for cacti and succulents as they grow in dry, sandy places.
